The monk’s of Chua Thien An had a request from the Sangha to add retreats earlier in the year, before the weather gets too hot and in advance of our traditional training/retreat schedule which starts in September. But sometimes things just don’t work out.
As of today, due to a lack of participants, the Dogen three-day retreat that was to begin this Friday evening, June 9, has been canceled. Even so, you still have time to consider joining the monks during the first Temple Day Retreat of our traditional Rains Training/Retreat Season starting the second weekend of September. Please look for that announcement and let a monk know if you’d like to participate. We hope you will join us then.
